Your data stays with you

The app

  • Everything is stored on your PC.
  • No account to create, no telemetry.
  • Everything goes away with its folder.

This site

  • No cookies for visitors.
  • No audience measurement, no third-party service.
  • A download counter per version and per day, without IP addresses.

The NES app

Your settings, your game database (%APPDATA%\NotEnoughStats\nes.db) and the app logs stay on your PC. NES has no account and no telemetry. Logs mask secrets, such as the LoL client passwords.

To erase everything, uninstall NES and delete the %APPDATA%\NotEnoughStats folder.

Services the app contacts

NES only contacts:

  • the Riot API: your games, your ranks and the profiles you look up;
  • Data Dragon, ddragon.leagueoflegends.com: game images and static data;
  • static.developer.riotgames.com: static files of the Riot documentation (queues, maps);
  • GitHub Releases: updates.

The League of Legends client, the Live Client Data API (port 2999) and Discord are reached locally, on your PC. Discord display is off by default.

This site

This site sets no cookies for its visitors and does not measure its audience. It calls no third-party service: fonts, images and scripts are served by the site itself. The only cookie is the admin panel session cookie, reserved for the publisher.

Downloads

Each download of an installer adds one to the counter of its version for that day. No IP address, user agent or any other identifier is recorded with this counter.

If a file is not available on this server, the download is redirected to GitHub, whose privacy statement then applies.

Server logs

The application serving this site records no IP address. It only keeps in memory, for 15 minutes at most, the address of failed login attempts to the admin panel, to block attacks.

The reverse proxy receiving connections may keep a technical access log (IP address, date, requested page, browser), used only for security and troubleshooting, and kept for 14 days at most. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask for access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of data about you, and object to its processing. For server logs, give the date and time of your visit.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
